Job Description - Process Support Engineer (VSE/EPI/FEP/CMP)
A Process Support Engineer at Applied Materials helps ensure stable, high\u2011quality semiconductor processes by supporting tool performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing process conditions. You will be based at customer\u0027s site daily and works closely with customer and internal teams to resolve problems quickly, analyze process data, and improve tool uptime and yield in a fast\u2011paced cleanroom environment.\n\nRole Responsibilities: \n\n * Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment \n\n * Work closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture the most advanced semiconductor chips, many of which are inside everyday electronic devices \n\n * Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics; and compile reports with high-level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments \n\n * Troubleshoot complex problems; perform multiple root cause analysis; and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues \n\n * Communicate with both internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals with a focus on building relationships and establishing trust \n\n * Apply your growing knowledge of best practices to offer a new perspective using existing solutions \n\n * Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and a liaison between the customer and business unit; you may also lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements \n\n\n\n\n \nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in chemistry/ physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field \n\n * Few years of experiences in the semiconductor process or equipment, preferably in Applied Material tools like VSE/EPI/FEP/CMP\n\n * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and work to build consensus among project stakeholders \n\n * Ability to travel to various customer sites as required\n\n\n\n\nWork Location:\n\n * North/ East (Based at customer\u0027s site daily)\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n2 - 4 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Enhanced)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
