Procurement Associate - can start ASAP - Hiring Immediately

Job Duration: 6-month contract (highly extendable and convertible)

Morgan McKinley is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Buyer with expertise in drop shipment and a deep understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) to join our team.
 

Position Overview: 

As an Associate Buyer at, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth procurement process of materials and products required for our operations. 

You will manage drop shipment relationships, optimize our supply chain, and utilize your Bill of Materials knowledge to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with drop shipment suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine material requirements and ensure timely deliveries.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish materials as needed to meet production demands.
• Analyze market trends and industry developments to make informed buying decisions.
• Resolve supply chain issues and address any discrepancies in shipments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 of experience in procurement and drop shipment operations.
• Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and its application in procurement.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data analysis.
• Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
