Procurement Executive - Get Hired Fast

PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

An established multinational metal manufacturing company in hiring for a Procurement Executive to be based at their regional HQ here in Singapore. This is a new headcount due to the business expansion. 

About the Role:

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your main responsibility is to provide end to end operational support to the team for all procurement related activities. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the administration of full procurement cycle.
• Prepare RFQ against forecast and receipt of supplier proposals and generating RFQ.
• Monitoring of cargo readiness and delivery status for all contracts. 
• Advising suppliers on vessels ETA and co-ordinate inspections schedule with QA/QC department.
• Experience in order fulfillment
• Reviewing details on Charter-Party Bill of Lading.
• Weekly reporting to internal stakeholders on ongoing/upcoming shipment.
• Applying COO and co-ordinate CCIC survey application for Indonesia import.
• Submitting shipment advice to internal stakeholders with complete set of documents (BL, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, MTC, COO, Insurance Certificate etc.).
• Facilitate LC tenor application and amendment.
• Responsible for reconciliation of invoices against purchase order and validate final invoice with Finance team.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong knowledge in contract management and liaising with suppliers.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement role 
• Experience in LC application process and preparation of shipping documents  
• Knowledge in Microsoft D365 is an added advantage
• Ability to travel overseas for business trip
