Procurement Manager

Salary: S$5,000 and above

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Alternate Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the procurement department and purchasing team.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Oversee purchasing activities for ACMV, HVAC, metal ducting, construction materials, mechanical equipment, and related products.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted supply of materials for ongoing projects.
• Review and approve purchase orders, supplier contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate closely with project, production, warehouse, and finance teams to support project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and procurement best practices.
• Prepare procurement reports, budgets, forecasts, and management updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Experience in construction, HVAC, ACMV, sheet metal, engineering, or metal ducting industry is highly preferred.
• Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement systems.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
