Procurement Manager - Dynamic Team

The incumbent is responsible for managing the sourcing of direct and indirect inventory, managing vendors’ relationship and purchasing of goods and services essential for the Company’s operations. Ensures quality standards are followed in all activities and processes; and contributes to cost efficiencies, supply chain resilience, vendor management and overall business effectiveness. Improves processes by advising on sourcing strategies and improvement changes to ensure timely delivery on projects. Manage vendor selection and evaluation.

1. Manage and procure inventory for the Company; cooperate with sales team and operate team to manage stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
2. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers. Maintain and develop healthy vendor relationships to ensure timely deliveries and favourable terms. 
3. Develop procurement strategies to meet company’s objectives. Identify cost saving strategies and supplier management strategies. 
4. Identify and highlight supply chain risks such as quality issues, supply shortages, price changes.
5. Enhance procurement improvement processes by reducing costs, streamlining operations and increase efficiency.       
6. Ensure the quality of the procured products are in accordance with customer’s product specification. Constantly feedback the product quality concerns to suppliers and improve the product quality as a whole.
7. Manage, lead the procurement team, and improve the procurement team productivity and efficiency.
8. Timely report and track the KPIs.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma 
• Minimum 3-5 years in a managerial role and has experience in leading a team to ensure day to day purchasing activities and documentation are being carried out smoothly.
• Experience in vegetable or fruits overseas buying is value added.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with various departments.
