Procurement Manager FMCG Dairy UP to $7K VB - Immediate Start

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and establish relationships with reliable cheese & dairy products suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure cost-effective and quality products.
• Conduct regular inspections of incoming shipments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Analyze customer preferences and adjust product offerings accordingly.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
• Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Work closely with the finance department to manage and control budgetary aspects related to cheese & dairy products' procurement.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a procurement role within the Food Production industry.
• In-depth knowledge of cheese & dairy products, quality standards, and industry trends.
• Possess excellent understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
