Your new role
As the Product Control Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the bank's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include daily product control tasks such as Treasury transaction verification, trade cancellation monitoring, data reconciliations, and P&L production and analysis. You will also be responsible for monitoring market risk limits, maintaining trading systems, and assessing new and existing financial products. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders, contribute to policy updates, and take on ad-hoc projects that drive the success of the team and the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

For you to be successful in this role, you will have:

• 
  A Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  
• 
  At least 2 years of relevant experience in product control, risk management, or a similar function
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of Treasury products, derivatives, and market conventions (e.g., Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income).
  
• 
  High proficiency in using Microsoft Excel functions such as VBA
  
• 
  Prior experience in using Bloomberg Terminal or Reuters Eikon is a plus
