Product Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Product Engineer:

Job Responsibilities

• Manage product specifications and characterization for transportation-related products.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain necessary documentation.
  
• Enhance product reliability and quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge database of best practices and lessons learned.
• Design and execute test methods for product verification and validation.
• Maintain product requirement documentation and update as necessary.
• Collaborate with development and quality teams to resolve product-related issues.
• Participate in First Article Inspection (FAI) and product compliance testing.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in design or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of product engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in product validation testing and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., REACH, RoHS, EN 50155, EN 50121-3-2, EN 61373, EN 60068, EN 45545-2) is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethics.
• Capable of working independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to track and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 5,500
• Working Location: Yishun
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
• 1 year renewable contract
