PRODUCT QUALITY ENGINEER 

Responsibilities: 

Quality Assurance Processes

Develop and implement product quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. 

Establish quality metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and quality control plans to monitor and improve product quality throughout the life cycle. 

Product Inspection and Testing 

Conduct product inspections, tests, and evaluations to verify compliance with specifications, standards, and customer requirements. 

Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and address product defects, non-conformities, and quality issues. 

Root cause analysis and Corrective Actions: 

Investigate and analyze product quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence. 

Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to drive problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Supplier Quality Management 

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and reliability of incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies.

Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and qualifications to evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with quality standards. 

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, and certification (e.g., FDA, ISO, CE) through documentation and adherence to quality management systems. 

Continuous Improvement

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes. 

Implement Lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve overall product quality and efficiency. 

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, tests, audits, and corrective actions.

Prepare and present product quality performance reports, metrics, and trends to management and stakeholders. 

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field. 
  • Proven experience in product quality engineering, quality assurance, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.
  • Experience in product inspection, including statistical process control and measurement systems analysis. 
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA)

CUSTOMER QUALITY ENGINEER 

Responsibilities: 

Customer Relationship Management 

Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding quality-related inquiries, concerns and feedback. 

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their quality expectations and requirements. 

Quality Issue Resolution

Investigate and analyze customer complaints, non-conformities, and quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. 

Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions to address customer quality concern promptly

Quality Assurance and Compliance

Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements set forth by customers and relevant regulatory bodies. 

Conduct regular audits and assessments of internal processes, procedures, and suppliers to maintain quality standards. 

Continuous Improvement

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. 

Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis to drive process improvements and reduce defects 

Data Analysis and Reporting

Collect, analyze, and interpret quality-related data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement. 

Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate quality performance metrics to stakeholders. 

Training and development

Provide training and support to internal teams and suppliers on quality-related processes, procedures, and best practices. 

Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization. 

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g, CQE, Six Sigma) is a plus. 
  • Proven experience in quality engineering, customer-facing roles, or related fields. 
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
