Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Production Manager to oversee and manage the production operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and efficiency. This role is critical to ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Job Description

• Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to ensure efficient and timely production.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet company goals and customer demands.
• Monitor production activities and adjust schedules as needed to maintain workflow.
• Supervise and provide direction to production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Address any personnel issues and implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and monitor production for adherence to these standards.
• Address any quality issues promptly and effectively to minimize impact on production.
• Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect employees and minimize workplace hazards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Manage and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Maintain production equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including metrics on efficiency, quality, and output.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
