About the Role

Weare seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities for our rubber molding and CNC machining operations. You will ensure efficient use of resources, on-time delivery to customers, and optimization of production workflows in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for rubber molding and CNC machining processes to meet customer demands and internal targets.
• Develop mold designs together with mold vendors
• Coordinate with procurement, quality control, engineering, and shop floor teams to ensure raw materials, tooling, and equipment are available for scheduled production runs.
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Manage work orders, routing, and bill of materials (BOM) in the ERP/MRP system.
• Optimize production sequences to reduce setup times and improve machine utilization for both molding and CNC operations.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, inventory turns, and production efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.) to enhance planning accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
• Generate reports on production status, capacity planning, and material requirements for management review.

Requirements

·        Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent

·        Strong background in rubber molding (compression, injection, transfer) and/or CNC machining operations is highly preferred.

·        Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing principles.

·        Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

·        Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
