PROJECT DIRECTOR

Job Description & Requirements

We are a leading renovation contractor seeking an experienced Project Director to drive business growth, oversee key client relationships, and lead high-performing project and operations teams. This role is suited for a commercially driven leader with a strong track record in renovation project management and the ability to scale operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage project managers, site worker and operations staff to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and implement effective project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation strategies.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure service excellence and project growth.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand market presence.
• Monitor and optimize operational workflows to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare periodic project and business performance reports for management review.
• Undertake any other duties or strategic initiatives assigned by the management team.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in renovation projects, construction, or related commercial roles.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive business performance in a competitive environment.
• Strong business and technical acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and ensure project profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards is highly desirable.
