Roles & Responsibilities
Description
To assist the Project Team in project planning, monitoring, coordination, engineering and design reviews, vendor data, procurement related issues, coordination with vendors to meet the progress and budget.
Responsibilities
- Project co-ordination with Client, Engineering, Procurement, Construction Teams, vendors for all project management activities related to Mechanical Equipment
- Assist Project Manager in Vendor Correspondences & Minutes of Meeting (for Mechanical Equipment)
- Evaluation of vendors Technical & Commercial Proposal
- Monitor and follow through procurement workflow processes (Purchase Requisition / Purchase Order / Post Award / Coordination for Timeline / Delivery to Site / Site Commissioning)
- Coordinate with planning engineers for progress monitoring
- Interpret Construction and Technical Drawings
- Preparation of Method of Statement, Risk Assessments for various installation works
- Prepare and review Mechanical Equipment procedures
- To initiate and undertake action to prevent occurrences of non-conformit
Requirements
- Preferably Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably 0-2 years relevant experience in Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Construction Industries.
- Extensive knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Project controls and Construction work processes.
