Project Engineer (M&E / ACMV) - WT - Urgent Hiring

About Our Client:

• Our client is one of the well-known Japanese based comprehensive engineering companies which based in Singapore.
• Working Hour: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Location: Multiple Location, depends on the projects
• Salary Package: Basic up to $4,000 + AWS + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with design specifications, drawings, method statements, and regulations.
• Conduct design calculations, estimate costs, and prepare engineering plans and details.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations based on tender specifications.
• Verify equipment and materials for compliance with specifications and drawings.
• Create weekly work schedules and maintain documentation.
• Ensure proper implementation of temporary works as planned.
• Supervise and manage workmen and subcontractors to ensure adherence to building standards, quality, timelines, costs, and safety.
• Oversee the work of junior supervisors under your supervision.
• Maintain daily work records, including additional work claims and progress reports.
• Provide progress updates to consultants and owners.
• Perform any other project-related tasks as assigned.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must have minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Semi-Con industry.
• Strong knowledge of M&E details, working drawings and local construction practices.
• Conversant with local codes and regulations.
• Able to check combined services drawings and coordination problems with other trades.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and communicate changes as required.
• Ability to draw detailed coordination drawings and sketches and resolve technical problems with subcontractors.
• Is a good team player and is analytical and a problem solver.
• Excellent in communication skills, both verbal and writing skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and other IT software.
