We are looking for a Project Engineering Manager to lead the technical side of capital investment project execution and coordinate contribution of all stakeholders (from investment project charter until start-up) by managing a cross-functional team whose objective is to oversee the capital investments relating to the company's fixed assets

A day in the life of...

• Support the End to End Project Manager in defining the project team, project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Build the investment project charter and see to it that it is strictly followed throughout the project.


• Lead the team and coordinate the contribution of all the stakeholders, to get the engineering side of the project implemented (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality, the URS and the characteristics of a unit operation, all the elements of the project (including technical people training, as needed) in such a way that safety is always guaranteed on the whole project site and a vertical start-up is assured.


• Coordinate efforts with the start-up manager and her/his team, to assure a smooth transition to operations, after the qualification and the verification of the installation have been finalized.


• Prepare and distribute the project documentation of engineering, including the engineering part of the project final report and provide feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System.


• Be the engineering project team leader, meaning integrating, motivating, feed backing, coaching, developing, managing and evaluating team members and being their support and liaison with the steering committee and all the project's stakeholders. Keep the End to End Project Manager informed. Keep all the required communication channels open

• 5 years experience in an international project environment context 


• Capital Investment projects management in food industry 


•  People development and management tools (including PDG, coaching, competences training, career and succession planning, recruitment and development)
