Project Lead (Design & Build – Landed Homes)

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer/Interior Designer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing residential and landed property projects from concept development through construction and project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and liaise with clients to understand project requirements, lifestyle needs, budget, and design objectives.
• Develop design concepts, space planning layouts, mood boards, material selections, and presentation proposals.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, 3D visualisations, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities where required.
• Manage projects from design development through construction and final handover.
• Conduct site measurements, site inspections, and project coordination meetings.
• Review and select materials, finishes, fittings, sanitary wares, lighting, and furniture.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful project delivery.
• Resolve design, technical, and site-related issues during project execution.
• Assist in preparing quotations, variation orders, and project documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, building requirements, and company standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in interior design and project management.
• Experience in landed residential, reconstruction or A&A projects preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent software.
• Strong design flair with good technical detailing knowledge.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
