Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of commercial renovation, fit-out, and Design & Build projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record in managing construction projects from inception to completion while ensuring quality, safety, budget control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

• Lead and manage multiple Design & Build projects from award to completion.
• Develop project schedules, work programmes, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend client meetings, site meetings, and coordination meetings.
• Manage expectations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, landlords, and authorities.

Design & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure design intent is translated accurately during construction.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues promptly.

Construction & Site Management

• Supervise project execution and site activities.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor workmanship quality and compliance standards.

Cost & Procurement Management

• Manage project budgets and cost control.
• Review quotations and procurement requirements.
• Track variation orders and project expenditures.
• Ensure project profitability and commercial objectives are achieved.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
• Maintain safe work practices on all project sites.
• Ensure all required permits, approvals, and documentation are properly managed.

Project Close-Out

• Manage testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and handover processes.
• Ensure project documentation is completed and submitted.
• Conduct project reviews and lessons-learned assessments.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant project management experience in Singapore's construction or interior renovation industry.
• Proven experience managing commercial fit-out, A&A, renovation, or Design & Build projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project execution.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and industry regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project Management software, and AutoCAD (basic understanding preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing office, retail, F&B, industrial, or commercial projects.
• Experience handling multiple projects concurrently.
• Possession of Class 3 Driving Licence.
• WSH-related certifications will be an advantage.
