Project Manager (8 months contract) 1

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 

 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

NETS is seeking highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

The ideal candidate to have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholder


• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets


• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution


• Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as needed


• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs


• Measure project performance


• Report and escalate issues to management as needed


• Ensure resource availability and allocation


• Perform risk management to minimize project risks


• Create and maintain project documentation

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or related Technology disciplines with equivalent business experience


• Minimum 7 years of project management experience


• Proven track record of delivering complex projects


• Strong understanding of project management tools

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills


• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies


• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS)


• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and integration pattern


• Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks


• Experience with CI/CD tools


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines


• Stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Professional Certification

• PMP/PRINCE2 Preferred
