Project Manager (Civil/Geo)

Job Description 

Changi Airport Group is part of the inter-agency team developing Changi East, which encompasses Changi Airport’s future Terminal 5. We welcome you to join us today as part of the team shaping Singapore's aviation future.

As part of the T5 project team, you will manage projects for the whole project life cycle from project inception, procurement or services and works, design development, construction and handover. You will need to manage stakeholders, design consultants, and contractors. In addition, you will also manage feasibility and engineering studies, facilitate brief development, review standards, review submissions from consultants and contractors and liaise closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders and public and private agencies on various aspects of the works. As a project manager, you will manage the project(s) time cost and quality to achieve the desired project outcomes.

Requirements

  Good degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related fields.

  
  


• 
  

  At least 8 years of experience in the construction industry.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong experience in project management and coordination.

  
  


• 
  

  Experienced in Program Risk Management.

  
  


• 
  

  Have minimum 3 years of construction management experience with Clients/Owners involving major civil infrastructure projects or deep excavation works of at least 15m deep or complex building projects 

  
  


• 
  

  Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration

  
  


• 
  

  Some experience in C&S engineering design, authority submission requirements and BIM requirements will be an advantage

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in MS Project will be an added advantage. 

  
  


• 
  

  Self-motivated, driven and possess good analytical/ problem solving skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Able to understand technical drawings, specifications, and requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Able to work independently, a strong team player and to handle fast-paced projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.

  
  

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
