Project Manager (Events)

6 months maternity cover fixed term contract

As the Project Manager for Events, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery and management of a diverse portfolio of high-impact live events. You will be responsible for translating initial briefs into fully-scoped projects, leading the allocation of resources and budgets, and ensuring every facet of execution—from creative concept to technical delivery—surpasses stakeholder expectations and achieves key business objectives.

Role:

• Lead and direct all facets of event production and experience management, including content programming, design, AV production, vendor management, logistics, and promotional strategy.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring all events are executed on schedule and within financial parameters.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external agency partners, ensuring clear communication, alignment on objectives, and seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyse project performance and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement, implementing optimisation strategies for future events.
• Collaborate effectively with the broader team on large-scale projects, contributing to production logistics, team meetings, and overall project management efforts to ensure collective success.

You:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive project management experience within an event agency environment.
• A proven track record of successfully planning, managing, and executing a diverse range of large-scale events from inception to completion, consistently meeting budgetary and strategic goals.
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex events concurrently.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with colleagues, agencies, and suppliers.
• Direct experience managing and executing international events is required.

• Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
