Project Manager (Horticulture)

Our client is a well-established SME with over 40 years in the landscaping industry. Due to business needs, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central Region.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by enforcing site procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of landscape works.
• Review project designs, specifications, and scope changes; assess impacts and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Define project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with management based on project proposals and requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope allocation, resource planning, and sequencing of work activities.
• Assign responsibilities across project phases, manage subcontractors, and evaluate contractor bids and performance.
• Establish and monitor project timelines by determining resource requirements and coordinating project milestones.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required to support project completion.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or project management within landscaping, horticulture, or construction.
• Candidates with horticulture or landscape maintenance experience will have an advantage.
