Project Manager (Oil & Gas) – Singapore

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop the project plan, proactively manage the order, coordinate with all relevant internal and external partners to manage all aspects of orders to meet customer’s expectations and internal important metrics.
• Work to ensure costs are managed and wherever possible, that still allows the project to meet customer requirements, action should be taken to avoid costs.
• Coordinate with vendors (including subcontractors), factories, purchasing department, and Sales team to get order status and support prioritization.
• Ability to provide sufficient input into the technical analysis of the project.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
• Responsible for producing and maintaining detailed project plans & timelines to the clients.
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.

Applicants must have the following skills & attributes:

• Minimum Degree qualification. Prefer with minimum 3 years of experience in industrial / engineering field and 2 years in supervisory capacity.
• Experience within the Marine and Oil & Gas industry is a bonus.
• Ability to manage and develop an existing customer base with Sales team.
• Strong communication skills are essential (verbal, non-verbal, written).
• Dynamic, resourceful & result oriented.
• Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project is an advantage
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate. 
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers and the general public.
• Willing to travel within or out of Malaysia in short notice as and when necessary.
