Project Manager - Rapid Progression

Responsibilities:

• Deliver large complex infrastructure, custom development, software SaaS implementation projects, managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business for diverse clients
• Have a firm grasp of the interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
• Providing sound decision making and calm leadership to the team under the pressures of resource, budget and time constraints
• Ensure on time, on budget projects by delivering predictable and reliable cost estimating, management and forecasting for portfolio of projects.
• Demonstrate functional and technical acumen in supporting how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
• Take the lead in using PMO Project Management Best practices, templates, policies, tools for client projects
• Ensure quality across all aspects of the projects program to deliver successfully with no major issues at go live; this includes effective management of change, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
• Adhere to PMO Project Management governance (policies, standards, guidelines) on successful delivery outcomes e.g. industry compliances, delivery frameworks/playbooks, port-mortem reviews, documentations
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the attainment of strategic objectives
• Ability to ensure continuous delivery within multiple projects for seamless operations.
• Communicate with key stakeholders to obtain required data and secure stakeholders' buy-in for recommended solutions.
• Work closely with all technical group to manage and coordinate resourcing of technical skills to handle project and services delivery,
• Work closely with Sales and Pre-Sales to progress new opportunities during deal proposal, reviews i.e. demand analysis, demos, tenders, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors' degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or a technology equivalent
• At least 12+ years of experience with 3 years in Infrastructure related projects and preferably 3 years in Software Development/API/Software SaaS/ETL/Data Migration related projects environment 
• Infrastructure hands-on setup experience (Operating system/database server/storage/backup/networking/cloud), Technology Consultant, Business Analyst, Trainer, Developer in early part of Career
• PMP certification is compulsory
• SCRUM/Agile certification is good-to-have
• Demonstrated project management experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with proven record of successful delivery
• Good knowledge and experience of all stages of the project and program lifecycle, including development of business cases, mobilization of projects.
• Experience in handling large Enterprise RFQ/RFP and government tender is an added advantage.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets effectively and experience of financial reporting
• Experience in delivering infrastructure projects (data centres, cloud).
• Understanding of on-premises (data centres, virtualization, hyper-converge, security) and cloud ecosystems - AWS, Azure, Huawei, Alibaba
• Understanding of the infra stack i.e. x86, Unix, storage, networks, security, desktops/laptops/devices, servers, backup solutions
• Experience in delivering ITIL projects and Cloud Application Systems/Integration development Projects will be an advantage 
• Knowledge of IT lifecycle management
• Knowledge of ITSM - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, Patch Management
• Ability to successfully manage and coordinate project teams comprising of both technical and business teams
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate between technical and business teams
• Able to interact with various levels of internal and external stakeholders both in written and verbal forms
• Ability to efficiently understand client organizations culture and business model to tailor relevant project management practice
