Project Manager (Waste Water Process Plant)

Job Description

• Oversee the planning and all project operations
• Manage the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery
• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept
• Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications
• Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget
• Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards
• Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements
• Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations
• Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations
• Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date
• Provide leadership to the project management and construction team
• Supervise daily site activities

Requirements 

• Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (Degree must be recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore)
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects for water treatment facility or process plant
• Hands-on” attitude, meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
• Professional project management certification (eg. PMP, CITPM, etc) is preferred
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines, resourceful and independent with good negotiation skills
• Will be required to travel to project sites
