A Project Officer position is available in the laboratory of Associate Professor Wei MA at the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

We are seeking a highly motivated and hard-working individual to support the lab activities of a plant research laboratory. A candidate with expertise of Arabidopsis genetics, plant molecular biology, plant biochemistry, Nicotiana benthamiana transient expression assay and microscopy background is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various administrative tasks within the lab, including but not limited to safety and risk assessment, equipment maintenance, procurement, and other related duties.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Biological Sciences or related fields

• Prior lab experience in plant molecular biology, plant biochemistry, Nicotiana benthamiana transient expression assay, plant physiology, plant genetics, gene expression, microscopy.

• Expected to be competent in standard plant genetics, molecular biology, plant physiology, and Nicotiana benthamiana transient expression techniques.

• Expected to be enthusiastic to plant biology research and suitable for teamwork.
