Project Technician

Key Responsibilities:

•           Perform inspections, repairs, overhaul, servicing, project works and replacement of components or parts

•           Analyze, troubleshoot, and solve equipment issues

•           Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly, and that repairs and maintenance are effective

•           Make appropriate repair recommendations to customers when necessary

•           Lead and organize spare parts inventory

•           Assist Assistant Manager in overall operation, maintenance, and project delivery

•           Coordinate for smooth execution of preliminary facilities installation ofequipment

•           Coordinate work schedule for appointed sub-contractor

•           Maintain site safety, documentation and authority submission requirement

•           Maintain workshop cleanliness

•           Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Competence (Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities):

•           Understanding and knowledge of the machinery equipment operating environment

•           Understanding engineering drawing and schematic layout

•           Skills in trouble shooting technical problems related to the company’s products

•           Skills in relating to and servicing the customers with a win-win mind set

•           Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health requirement in an automotive workshop environment

Requirements:

•           Strong technical knowledge of in-house products

•           Able to converse well with customers on enquiries

•           Able to deal with routine tasks and may perform tasks with some level of complexity

•           Able to solve problems in most cases and within guidelines

•           Works independently within guidelines, defined procedures, and direction

Education & Experience:

•           Minimum NTC2 or NITEC in Mechatronic or its equivalent

•           Minimum 3 years of machinery equipment repair experience

•           Experience in Electrical and Mechanical for Boiler, Laundry Equipment and PLC controls
