Industry: Marine / Ship Chandling

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure marine stores, provisions, spare parts, and technical supplies.

Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms with suppliers.

Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely order fulfilment.

Coordinate closely with Operations and Warehouse teams on stock availability and urgent vessel requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and replenish fast-moving items.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier database, and cost comparisons.

Resolve supply issues and manage supplier performance.

Requirements

1–3 years of purchasing experience (marine industry preferred).

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory systems.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgent deadlines.

Working Hours: Mon–Fri (9am–6pm), Sat WFH Half Day
