Purchasing cum QS (Construction Industry) - Hiring Now

Benefits Summary:

• Basic up to $3500 (depending on experience) + AWS + VB
• Monday to Friday 8 am to 5.30 pm
• Need to commit to one Saturday per month (8 am to 12 pm)
• Changi North
• Construction industry

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Communicate with management, and contractors on cost estimation.
• Negotiate project terms to ensure comprehensive issue resolution.
• Develop cost-reduction strategies to enhance overall project value.
• Ensure all purchased items meet specifications and comply with standards.
• Manage complete logistic processes including shipping documentation (primarily import; export when needed).
• Maintain close liaison with suppliers for delivery promptness and commitment.
• Manage purchase requisitions, orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
• Manage company vendors such as IT, maintenance/repair/operating contracts, etc.
• Oversee various contracts including purchasing, certificates, renewal inspections, etc.
• Address suppliers, vendors, and internal inquiries.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma level with at least 2 years of related working experience in Singapore
• Preferred applicant with Construction related field
• Full process of procurement including QS-related experiences preferred
• Comfortable working with warehouse/inventory department personnel; which is a non-aircon environment
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal & external personnel
• Able to handle various platforms for sourcing & purchasing selection
• Ability to start work with short notice preferred
