Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

• Ordering inventory, supplies, equipment, and services for all departments. Securing the best price for all purchases without jeopardizing quality. 
• Generating and submitting purchase orders in accordance with the company policies and procedures. 
• Confirming all orders and their subsequent delivery. 
• Source for alternate suppliers when there is a shortage and new supplies when there is a requirement.
• Declaring of Cargo Clearance Permit for incoming shipments with compliance from competent authority.
• Booking of SFA inspection; follow-up on SFA lab test results.
• Booking of shipments with freight forwarder for Air/Sea cargo; update of shipment schedules in Google calendar.
• Follow-up on shipping documents; apply for cargo insurance.
• Update Item Master Data when needed by end users; new item code creation; adding BOM.
• Maintain costing data and approved vendors listing in costing sheet/product catalogue/website.
• Monitoring expiring products and generating report weekly to warehouse.
• Preparing documents and vouchers for sponsorships; expediting client’s hamper redemption request.

Requirements

• GCE “N”, “O” Level or Polytechnic Graduate
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-Speaking counterparts 
• Computer proficient in MS Office (Excel a must)
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Position open to Singaporean and Permanent Resident only. 
• 5 ½ day week with alternate Saturday off
