Job Scope:

Purchasing Executive

• Responsible for overseeing procurement, logistics, and production planning.
• Initiate and release RFPs or RFQs (Request for Quotations) to suppliers.
• Identify potential suppliers and conduct market research to assess their capabilities.
• Ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery in all procurement functions.
• Evaluate and appraise suppliers for machine components, materials, and procurement products from both local and overseas sources.
• Utilize negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and lead times, ensuring punctual deliveries.
• Closely manage, maintain, and monitor project costings to achieve cost savings.
• Maintain warehouse stock levels to adequately support Sales and Production.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in buying marine spare parts/ or manufacturing industry will be added advantage.
