Purchasing Manager [West area / FMCG sector]

Job Info:

• Basic up to $6000 (Stretchable)
• Entitled for AWS & VB
• Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
• West Region
• FMCG sector 

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive cost-saving initiatives by sourcing efficiently, monitoring market rates, and maximizing procurement value.
• Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning by analyzing sales trends, supply conditions, and business risks.
• Build strong supplier relationships to meet raw material, ingredient, and packaging needs for food and beverage operations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align procurement strategies with business growth and compliance standards.
• Develop policies, oversee purchasing systems, and coach teams for long-term success in procurement and planning.

Requirements:

• Min 5 years of purchasing experience, ideally in FMCG, with a focus on food sourcing/purchasing.
• Experience in overseas food importation, including freight cost management, MOQ negotiation, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of meat and cheese imports is advantageous.
• Proficient in SAP will be an added advantage.
