A top-tier quantitative investment firm is seeking a Python Developer to join its Post-Trade / Regulatory Technology team.

You will work closely with compliance, trading, and technology teams to build, maintain, and optimize systems that ensure accurate post-trade data and reporting. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to design frameworks, automate workflows, and improve data integrity across the trade lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems supporting post-trade data validation, reporting, and controls
• Develop and integrate automation tools for post-trade processes
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of post-trade and regulatory data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and enhance system reliability

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, with strong Python skills (open to candidates with less experience)
• Solid SQL and database experience
• Experience designing frameworks and tools from scratch
• Knowledge of post-trade workflows and financial derivatives is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to cloud platforms or modern software architecture is advantageous
