QA Assistant Manager

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a QA Assistant Manager (Plating):

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute projects and tasks in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Supervise quality-related functions, ensuring the effective implementation of Quality & Environmental Management Systems (QEMS) to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards. Establish, implement, and maintain quality and environmental objectives in line with company goals.
• Ensure adherence to customer, legal, and regulatory requirements while identifying and implementing necessary improvements.
• Manage department budgets, workforce planning, and competency development to support operational efficiency.
• Conduct vendor audits, internal and external ISO audits, and oversee initiatives related to Total Quality Control (TQC), cost reduction, and continuous quality improvement.
• Monitor key performance metrics, assess risks related to environmental, safety, and information security, and implement necessary mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients on quality and environmental compliance matters.
• Authorize production halts when necessary to prevent non-conforming products from reaching customers and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure timely reporting of adverse events or advisory notices to relevant regulatory bodies in accordance with compliance requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering or quality assurance, with knowledge of plating processes.
• Prior experience in a managerial role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards.
• Basic understanding of automotive core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) and working knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP is preferred.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 5,800 +AWS +VB (2 - 3 Months)
• Working Location: Joo Koon
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.50am to 4.55pm
