QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will drive software quality by proactively identifying defects, expanding test coverage, and refining testing workflows to support continuous delivery and high-performance applications. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will contribute to building reliable and high-performing products through a balanced approach to testing and automation.

Job Description:

• Plan, execute, and document manual exploratory and regression testing to validate new features, uncover defects, and ensure a seamless user experience before automation implementation.


• Design and implement comprehensive API testing strategies using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks, ensuring backend reliability, security, and performance.


• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript) to enhance test coverage, accelerate development cycles, and ensure application stability.


• Conduct Black Box, White Box, and API testing to ensure robust test coverage.


• Work closely with the development team to ensure a continuous integration & deployment process with high-quality standards.


• Maintain and optimize build servers within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless execution of automated test suites and rapid feedback loops.


• Create efficient test plans and maintain the test case repository as our product evolves.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks, with a strong preference for Playwright (TypeScript). Additional experience with Appium, Selenium, or Cypress is advantageous.


• Proven experience in API testing, including designing and automating test cases using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools to validate API functionality, performance, and security.


• Expertise in functional testing methodologies, including End-to-End, Integration, and Interface/API testing, ensuring comprehensive validation across different application layers.


• Experience in writing and maintaining test automation scripts using TypeScript, Java, Python, or JavaScript, with a focus on building scalable test frameworks.


• Experience with SQL queries, relational database testing, and data validation, with a preference for MySQL.


• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Bitbucket, with an understanding of test execution within containerized environments.
