Job Description - QA Engineer

Intro

Based in Singapore, the QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the web and mobile applications are robust, conform to specifications, are free of bugs, and are usable for end users.

What will you do

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium based on project needs. Experience with visual or snapshot testing tools such as Jest (snapshot testing), Percy, Chromatic, or Storybook is a plus.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and define test coverage.
Execute manual and automated functional, regression, and smoke tests across web and/or mobile platforms.
Investigate test failures, triage bugs, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks, following best practices like Page Object Model.
Write and manage API tests using tools like Postman or REST Assured to validate backend logic.
Participate in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives), and provide testing estimates.
Stay updated with emerging QA tools and practices, recommend improvements to quality processes.
Work independently and thrive in an Agile environment.

What do we expect

BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software QA.
Proficiency in automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain test scripts.
Programming skills in at least one language (Python, Java, JavaScript, C#), with an understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
