QA Engineer
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To perform quality assurance functions with regards to product, process and maintain quality management system while ensuring compliance with all related government agencies, aviation authorities and customers’ requirements and regulations
- Establish quality procedure and quality control instructions
- Responsible for handling customer complaint, updating standard operating procedures and coordination of trainings and meetings
- Liaise with customers/vendors/suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality.
- Responsible in maintaining the incoming and outgoing inspection reports.
- Assist QA Manager in ensuring that all equipment are calibrated before being used.
- Perform statistical analysis on over-all production output and in-house and customer rejects
- Perform internal audits to evaluate quality system, products and processes (ISO9001/AS9100/ISO14001)
- To carry out other QA functions as required
QUALIFICATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Diploma in Engineering
- Computer Literate
- Able to communicate and understand English
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in Aerospace Manufacturing QA Environment
- Knowledgeable with ISO9001/AS9100 Quality Management System and ISO14001 Environmental Management System requirements
- With AS9100 Internal Auditor Certification
- Familiarity with audit covering special chemical processes would be a plus
