Job Description: 

Interpret technical drawings

Develop & implement QA/QC plans

Coordinate inspections with clients & 3rd parties

Support audits & documentation

Train team members on quality systems

Work closely with welding engineers to resolve issues

Requirement: 

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Related Engineering

3+ years in manufacturing or quality control

Knowledge in ASME-IX, API, ISO 9001, NACE

Strong communication & teamwork skills

Able to work independently

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The main duties of the job will be to:

• Interpret technical drawings from clients
• Develop and execute QAQC plans, inspection and test plans as well as procedures according to client’s requirement.
• Coordinate all project testing, inspection activities and buyouts by client, third party inspectors and ensuring compliance to project specification.
• Perform inspection when needed
• Prepare and ensure that final documentation report submission is as per customer’s requirement.
• Attend to certification audits, customer periodic audits, review meetings and visits.
• Work closely with welding engineer on resolving non-conforming issues.
• Communicate engineering/technical/quality requirements to the team.
• Assist in developing the Quality Management system by establishing procedures, plans and work instructions as needed
• Support QAQC activities in other overseas subsidiary.
• Training aspect in this job required as you will be required to conduct some classroom and on-the-job training in the above areas.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in manufacturing or related field is required for this position
• Required Skill(s): Welding, technical drawing, ASME-IX, API, ISO 9001, NACE
• Able to work independently
