Job Description - Quality Assurance Coordinator/Officer (Warehouse)

The Quality Assurance Executive will be responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies within the third-party logistics (3PL) environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspection:
  • Perform detailed inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure products meet specified quality standards.
  • Conduct random sampling of goods to verify consistency and quality.

 2. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
  • Generate and present quality reports to the Supervisor, highlighting any deviations or non-conformities.

 3. Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure all products comply with industry regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
  • Assist in developing and updating quality control policies and procedures.

 4. Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and report defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve quality issues promptly.

 5. Process Improvement:

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving inspection methods and quality assurance practices.
  • Assist in training warehouse staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.

 6. Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations within the warehouse and logistics environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Min Diploma or equivalent with additional technical training or certifications in quality control or related field is a plus.
  • Min 2 years of working experience in quality control, preferably within a 3PL or logistics environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Good understanding of quality control principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decision under pressure.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Fast paced working environment.
