Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: ASSISTANT QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) ENGINEER / QA ENGINEER

Location: Ang Mo Kio

Responsibilities

• Manage, compile, and review ECR/ECN, 8D/CAR, and engineering records.
• Prepare equipment manuals and perform English-Chinese translations.
• Coordinate warranty parts returns and support hands-on return analysis across departments.
• Arrange chemical samples with external laboratories.
• Assist internal teams with customer/third-party document submissions and ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering. 2+ years of experience (Semiconductor preferred) OR fresh graduates with relevant internship/project experience.
• High proficiency in English and Chinese (for document translation and associate liaison).
• Strong communication, hands-on mindset, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Prepare, compile and review technical documentation, data, specifications and procedures (including Engineering records ECR/ECN, 8D/CAR) to support both internal requirements and external requests from customers as well as third parties
Prepare and compile equipment manuals and do simple translation in Chinese and English
Support the handling of warranty parts return and documentation with internal departments and external parties
Coordinate and arrange chemical samples with external laboratories for testing
Maintain good documentation updates and control of technical and engineering records to ensure documents traceability.
Work closely with internal departments, to support documentation requirements and submissions to external parties
Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior and Management
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Semiconductor industry and familiar with the industry certification standards
High proficiency in both English and Chinese will be an advantage (to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates and to perform documents translation)
Willing to be hands-on in managing parts return analysis with other departments
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Positive working and learning attitude
Able to work effectively both independently and within a team
Good multi-tasking skills, highly organized with strong attention to details
Good analytical ability
Able to work under tight schedules to meet deadlines

Basic Salary:
SGD 2,500 to 3,500 (salary commensurate with experience)
