Quality Assurance Manager

A leading food manufacturer and distributor specializing in premium meat products, frozen foods, and foodservice solutions, serving retail, foodservice, and industrial customers across regional and international markets.

Looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and enhance the organization's Food Safety and Quality Management System. This role offers the opportunity to drive food safety and quality excellence, ensure regulatory and certification compliance, lead audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance function and oversee the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GFSI, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage internal, customer, certification, and regulatory audits, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
• Monitor quality performance, investigate non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, R&D, and other cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards and process controls.
• Develop, coach, and mentor the Quality Assurance team while supporting quality-related projects, system improvements, and training initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of Quality Assurance experience within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GFSI, and food safety regulations.
• Proven experience managing food safety management systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to support operational requirements outside regular working hours, when necessary.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
