Quality Control (QC) Inspector (With CMM Experience)

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Quality Control (QC) Inspector (With CMM Experience) in Singapore. Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on manufactured components.
  
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment for accurate measurement verification.
  
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
  
• Conduct incoming, in -process, and final quality inspections.
  
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
  
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
  
• Identify non -conforming products and support corrective actions.
  
• Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and measuring equipment.
  

Required Skills

1. CMM Operation – Hands -on experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines.
   
2. Engineering Drawings – Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements.
   
3. Quality Inspection – Experience performing dimensional and visual inspections.
   
4. Precision Measuring Tools – Skilled in using verniers, micrometers, height gauges, and related instruments.
   
5. Manufacturing Quality Control – Understanding of quality processes within precision engineering environments.
   

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GD&T standards.
  
• Experience with quality documentation and reporting.
  
• Exposure to ISO quality systems.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 3–4 years of relevant experience in quality inspection within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience operating CMM equipment and handling precision measurement activities is mandatory. Applicants should be capable of working independently and supporting quality assurance processes.

Education

• Minimum: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Typical)
  
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
  
• Additional: Quality Inspection or Metrology Certifications (Typical)
