Quality Control Technician (Chemical Industry/ Manufacturing) - Start Immediately

Responsibilities: 

• Directly reports to the section engineer.
• Perform all laboratory tests and measurements precisely and in line with procedure, as well as maintaining the instruments and facilities in good working condition.
• Preparing standards and reagents for analysis in accordance to the procedures and ensuring to maintain all related documents. 
• In-charge of performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and prepare a maintenance report after troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Manage in handling documentation and raw data for the QA Department.
• Update and monitor internal Statistical Process Control charts accurately. 
• When necessary, support with staff training for QC Section-related operations.
• Maintain and verify the inventory of all storage samples and ensure to maintain relevant record. 
• Receive QA department purchases and check that all items and relevant documents are correct at the time of receipt.
• Support with the audit preparation and QA Section with their task as needed.
• Involved in near miss identification and provides suggestion for job improvement (QEHS).
• Maintaining the general upkeep and cleanliness of the laboratory and related areas. 
• All EHS/QMS procedures must be properly followed in all elements of the activity, as well as line discipline and 5S.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor, engineer, QC section manager, and HOD.

Requirements: 

• Min Diploma in Chemical or Science Field. 
• Prior experience in analytical instruments such ICP-MS, etc.
• With basic understanding of OHSAS18001, ISO4001 and ISO9001 standards is advantage.
• Well-versed in MS Office Applications
