- Establish the group quality policy.
- Set quality goals/objectives for the group.
- Oversee the execution of the group quality policy and systems that lead to improvement in costs, product quality and performance.
- Manage a team of quality managers and oversee the performance of the Group QA.
- Provide direction, coaching and technical guidance to the Global Quality Team.
- Accountable for managing and developing the Global Quality Team including hiring, retention, performance management, capability/skill development, career development and succession planning.
- Establish, standardize and oversee the quality assurance and product integrity standards and procedures for group.
- Work with individual plants to plan and allocate resources based on business demands.
- Play a lead role in driving quality improvement programs such as lean manufacturing.
- Oversee supplier management and assist in resolving customer complaints.
- Provide quality leadership and direction in the new product development.
- Work with different departments to ensure the quality of work performed complies with international standards and ISO system.
- Support sales teams on technical and quality issues.
