Quality Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Quality Engineer:

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and execute projects in alignment with management direction.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality, Environmental, and Water Efficiency Management Systems (QEMS/WEMS).
• Ensure organizational compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and ISO 46001 standards.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external, customer, and vendor audits.
• Maintain documentation and act as the Document Control Center.
• Support and enforce data and information security measures.
  
• Track key quality metrics including failure costs, production yields, and pass rates.
• Collaborate with departments and suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Address quality issues related to products and materials; manage customer feedback and dispositions.
• Oversee calibration schedules and coordinate third-party service providers.
• Perform maintenance and calibration of X-ray and inspection equipment; liaise with vendors for technical support.
• Maintain monthly equipment performance reports.
• Support product development by assisting in testing and pilot runs for new products.
• Drive initiatives such as E-Kaizen, Environmental Management Systems, and water efficiency programs.
• Participate in and support execution of the Emergency Response Plan.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering or quality assurance roles.
• Supervisory or team lead experience is an advantage.
  
• Prior experience in supplier management and product qualification preferred.
• Exposure to electroplating processes is a plus.
• Certified Lead/Internal Auditor in any of the following is advantageous: ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, IATF 16949, or ISO 46001.
• Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, and SPC; proficiency in Minitab or JMP is a plus.
• Competent in using 8D problem-solving tools (e.g., Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, resourceful, and detail-oriented.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 4,700 + AWS +VB
• Working Location: Joo Koon
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.50am to 4.55pm
