Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/Production
• Position Title: Quality Engineer
• Working Location: North East (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 6 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $4000 + AWS
• Duration: Permanent Role 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coach the Quality Inspectors.
• Manage and assign quality control tasks.
• Monitoring, auditing, assessing inspection processes. and improve them where necessary.
• Be the liaison for customer feedback, reports and supplier quality issues.
• Maintain inspection tools and keep a safe work environment.
• Continual improvement of inspection processes and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Any other task as assigned by the Superior.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in inspection of fabrication and machining parts.
• Experience in CMM programming.
• Able to read and interpret the GD&T print of assembly, machining and fabrication drawings.
• P&ID.
• Qualification in welding Inspector or welding NDT will be a plus.
