This role ensures that products meet internal and customer quality standards by identifying process deviations, supporting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement in production quality.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Provide guidance and training to operators on quality requirements and best practices.\n\n\n\n * Conduct regular in-process audits and inspections at various stages of manufacturing to verify compliance with quality standards and procedures.\n * Utilize measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to assess product and process conformity.\n * Document audit findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions in detailed reports for traceability.\n * Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address process deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions.\n * Monitor and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvements.\n * Support root cause analysis for quality issues and participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams.\n * Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety protocols.\n * Maintain 6S standards in the production and audit areas.\n * Present audit results and improvement recommendations to supervisors and cross-functional teams.\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum:\n\n * Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering, Science, or related technical field.\n * Ability to work on 12 hours shift and work in the production line.\n * Good communication and documentation skills.\n * Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to apply them effectively in daily work.\n\n\n\nPreferred:\n\n * Experience in in-process quality control or manufacturing audits preferred.\n * Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and inspection techniques is preferred.\n * Fundamental knowledge of AI tools is an advantage.\n * Good project management skills and continuous improvement knowledge is preferred.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nQuality Technician 1\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
