Quant Researcher - Singapore

This is a high-impact role for trading and research. It will specialise on market microstructure, strategy development, and performance research.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

1. To design, refine, and implement trading strategies that profit from market microstructure inefficiencies and superior execution.
2. Market microstructure research, order book dynamics, liquidity provision, and minimizing trading costs (like adverse selection).
3. Be an integral part of a collaborative commodities desk, working closely with senior traders, researchers, and engineers.
4. A hybrid role combining hands-on research (backtesting, analysis) with direct trading responsibilities (monitoring performance, managing inventory).
5. A quantitatively-rigorous individual with 3-6 years of proven experience in a similar setting, who is not just a theorist but someone whose research has directly translated into measurable trading profits.
