Quantity Surveyor

• Position : Quantity Surveyor
• Location : Kaki Bukit
• Working hours : Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4500 Basic + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave
• Duration : Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates during the tender stage.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Administer contracts and manage variations, claims, and change orders in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and provide cost analysis to Project Managers and Management.
• Prepare valuations and interim payment certificates for contractors and clients.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve cost-related issues.
• Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and contract files.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work progress and quality against contractual specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Contracts Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or Contracts Management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, including familiarity with the Singapore Standard Form of Contract or similar.
• Proficient in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and estimating software.
