Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

• Must have experience in handling Variations and Closure of Final Accounts with Client and Subcontractors
• Assist in subcontract procurement, evaluating, negotiation, selecting competent supplier and subcontractors and to prepare for relevant contract agreement
• Assist in measure and determine the amounts of work done at any stage of the construction for project budget, cost control, submission to client and financial budget report
• Check and evaluate the progress claims submitted by the sub-contractors in closely liaison with Project Manager / designated staff on the work done in terms of quantities and quality
• Carry out contract administration duties

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or in related disciplines
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar position in the construction industry with experience in budget/cost control 
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
