Quantity Surveyor Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QS team, coordinate and oversee team performance
• Oversee all aspects of QS processes
• Ensure quality of QS works and compliance with relevant legislations
• Coordinate preparation of project budgets and cost estimates
• Oversee contract management of variation works
• Oversee contract administration including final completion, statutory completion and final cost reports
• Oversee contract documentation and maintenance of database
• Review and approve payment certifications
• Conduct project audits
• Review schedule of rates and build up star rates
• Compile half-yearly tender rates and price information
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and construction cost management
• Familiarity with standard forms of contracts, valuation of variations, and handling contractual disputes
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
  

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Science, Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant QS experience in construction, maintenance, A&A, or estate upgrading projects
• Experience in public sector or town council projects will be an advantage
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
• Membership with SISV or other relevant professional bodies will be an advantage
